สำหรับวันที่ 2 ก็ยังคงอยู่ที่ Ginza Tokyo ครับ เริ่มต้นของวันด้วยอากาศเย็นๆ ประมาณ 2องศา วันนี้ตอนเช้าจะพาไปกินร้านอาหาร ที่เมื่อวานไปกินช่วงมื้อค้ำมา เพราะจองไว้ก่อนหน้าที่จะมาญี่ปุ่นประมาณ 1เดือน ซึ่งสำหรับมื้อเช้านี่ ไม่ได้จองเพราะว่าเต็มหมด แต่โชคดีที่เมื่อวานตอนเย็น ที่มากินที่ร้านนี้ ลองถามทางพนักงานว่า พรุ่งนี้เช้าเราอยากมากินอีก เพราะอร่อยมาก คุณพอจะมีที่ว่างอีกมั้ย .. หลังจากพนักงานไปตรวจสอบ ก็พบมา ว่างอยู่ และสามารถจองได้ ผมเลยรีบจองทันที เป็นช่วงเวลา 9:00 น. ซึ่งร้านที่พูดถึงนี้ ก็คือ ร้าน Bills Ginza ครับ
On the 2nd day, I am still in Ginza Tokyo. The day began with a chilly temperature of about 2 degrees Celsius. This morning, I will take you to a restaurant where I dined yesterday for Breakfast. I try to reservation for this restaurant a month ago but can’t because was full. However, I did not make a reservation for breakfast as it was fully booked. Fortunately, when I inquired with the staff yesterday evening about returning to the restaurant for breakfast tomorrow, they confirmed that there was availability and I was able to secure a reservation for 9:00 am. The restaurant in question is Bills Ginza.

The atmosphere inside the restaurant is pleasant with a mix of Japanese and foreign customers. The scent inside the restaurant is delightful, and the tables are arranged with ample space to avoid overcrowding. When I arrived at the restaurant, I wasn’t particularly hungry, so I decided to order a dessert that I had my eye on because many people said it was delicious. Let’s take a look at the menu, shall we?

As my girlfriend was feeling a bit hungry, because she didn’t eat much in the afternoon, she asked for something more filling than just a small snack.

As for myself, I had already planned to order this particular menu item, which was the fluffy and soft pancakes, generously dusted with icing sugar and drizzled with a bit of honey. Just the sight and smell of it made me certain that it would be delicious.
พอได้ลองกินดู ก็ทำให้รู้ว่า ที่เค้าพูดๆกันว่า Pancakes ของที่ ร้าน bills นั้นอร่อยเว่อร์วัง มันอร่อยจริงๆ แป้งนุ่มๆ รสสัมผัสเวลาเข้าปากมันไม่ละลายซะทีเดียว แต่พอให้มีเคี้ยวบ้าง กลิ่นที่กระจายไปทั่วปาก ผสมกับความหวานของน้ำผึ้งที่ราดมานั้น ที่ผสมกับน้ำตาลไอซิ่ง มันช่างเข้ากันอย่างเหลือเชื่อ เอาจริงๆตอนที่เค้ามาเสริฟ ผมแอบคิดนิดนึงด้วยว่า ไม่น่าจะกินหมด แต่สุดท้าย คนเดียวก็กินหมดแหละ 555
When I finally tasted it, I realized that the rumors were true, the pancakes at Bill’s restaurant were indeed very tasty. The texture was soft and not too crumbly, and the flavor was incredible. The sweetness of the honey mixed with the icing sugar was perfectly balanced and complimented the pancake well. At first, I thought that I wouldn’t be able to finish it all, but I ended up eating every last bite. Ha Ha Ha.

After finishing my meal, I ask the waiter if there were any tables available for tomorrow morning. I wanted to try some of the other menu items that Bill’s restaurant had to offer. I was aware that their menu changes depending on the time of day, so I wanted to come back and explore more. This was a rare feeling for me as I don’t usually eat out unless I am sure that the food will be good.

In conclusion, it wasn’t that I was dissatisfied with the food, but rather that I was curious about the other menu items. The ever-changing menu made me want to come back and try more, especially during the morning hours.
และในที่สุด ผมก็ได้มาซ้ำที่ ร้าน Bills อีกรอบในตอนเช้า ช่วงที่เข้ามา น่าจะเป็นคนเกาหลี ที่มาก่อนหน้าผมนิดหน่อย เหมือนเค้าไม่ได้จองไว้ ก็เลยต้องรอที่หน้าร้าน เพื่อรอคิวหลุด หรือ โต๊ะว่างที่อาจจะมีเพิ่มเติม .. แต่เนื่องจากผมจองไว้เมื่อคืนแล้ว เลยได้เข้ามาภายในร้านได้เลย รอดไป ..
Finally, I went back to Bills restaurant in the morning. When I arrived, there was a Korean person who had come before me and had not made a reservation. They had to wait outside the restaurant for an available table or an additional table. However, since I had made a reservation the night before, I was able to enter the restaurant right away and avoid waiting.
สำหรับรอบนี้ ผมได้โต๊ะริมกระจกวิวประมาณนี้ เอาจริงๆตอนนี้ไม่ได้สนใจวิวเท่าไหร่ อยากรีบสั่งอาหารมากินแล้วมากกว่า เพราะรอเวลาที่จองไว้ตอน 9โมง หิวกำลังได้ที่เลย 😋
For this visit, I got a table by the window with a nice view. However, at the moment, I am not particularly interested in the view. I am more eager to order my food and eat as soon as possible because I am hungry, especially since my reservation was for 9 o’clock.

The staff provided us with a QR code to scan so that we could order our menu through our mobile phones. This method is very convenient, and many restaurants in Japan also do it in the same way.

The first item has arrived. It’s orange juice listed on the menu as “Fresh Orange Juice,” but I felt that the one my partner squeezed for me while we were in Thailand tasted better.

Next up, if I remember correctly, should be a baguette with butter and orange jam. It’s a delicious and fragrant bread. My partner wants to order this to snack on while waiting for the main course.

My main dish has arrived: the Full Aussie Breakfast with Scrambled Eggs, Toast, Mushrooms, Bacon, and Roasted Tomato. To be honest, the scrambled eggs seemed more like an omelette because it was smooth and fluffy, just not in the circular shape we’re familiar with.

Normally, the scrambled eggs I’ve had were dry or not fully cooked, and they weren’t as smooth as this. As you can see, it’s really mouthwatering. The ingredients they added to it, the milk and butter for sure, must have been beaten for a long time to make the texture this smooth. The thickness of the eggs must be their way of doing it because when I tried to make it at home in Thailand, it didn’t turn out the same. I’ll update you if I can get close to replicating it. If it tastes good, I might even open a restaurant myself. (Ha Ha Ha)

While enjoying the view, the meal quickly came to an end. Although the dishes were sizable, it was still only enough for one person, so I shared it with my partner.

Lastly, let me describe the morning ambiance of the restaurant. Some tables were still empty, and customers who reserved might not have arrived yet. However, the queue in front of the restaurant was quite long.

After finishing up at Bills Ginza, Next we plan to go shopping around Shinjuku. However, we might stop by for another meal since we haven’t gotten hungry yet. But, the beer promotion in front of the restaurant is too tempting for beer lovers like us to pass up, so we’ll go in Kirin City Plus.

After placing my order for the food I wanted, I sat and enjoyed the view outside. I chose a table facing the storefront window because I wanted to set up my GoPro camera to capture the atmosphere of people walking around Shinjuku.

It wasn’t long before my beer order arrived. I got a Kirin Ichiban for 580 yen, Kirin beer is very cold. It was incredibly smooth and refreshing, a true delight for the palate.

The next item on the menu is Fish and Chips. The fried fish is either Mackerel or a similar type of fish, and has a sweet taste. The accompanying tartar sauce is also delicious and complements the fish well. It is perfect to dip the fish in and goes even better with beer. It’s hard to believe how well they pair together.

This meal is very satisfying and relaxing… After this, I plan to take a leisurely walk in the Shinjuku area. On the way, I stop at ABC Mart to check out some shoes. This time, they had just released the new colors for the New Balance 530 model, which my younger brother had asked me to buy for his girlfriend. I ended up browsing around for a while and found that they had them in stock, so I decided to buy them on the spot.

On the day that I visited the Shinjuku area, it happened to be a Sunday evening when certain roads were closed off to allow locals and tourists to walk around freely. It seemed that many people had taken advantage of this opportunity as the streets were bustling with both Japanese people and foreigners alike.

For those who are considering purchasing a ROLEX watch, if you visit the Shinjuku area, you’ll find several stores selling second-hand watches. However, the prices might be slightly more expensive compared to those in Thailand. Nevertheless, the condition of the watches is usually excellent.

Due on Tomorrow (Day 3), we have to pick up the rental car early in the morning to prepare for driving to Takayama. I will check what needs to be done if we want to drive in Japan. So, we have to go back to Ginza quickly. After arriving in Ginza and walking back to the Mercure hotel, we stumbled upon ABC Mart Grand Stage. The Grand Stage version of ABC Mart offers a wide selection of goods.

While I was perusing, I just remember a restaurant which I had visited previously and thoroughly enjoyed. Intrigued, I decided to revisit it and retrace my steps. After retrieving the coordinates from the pictures I had taken earlier, I made my way to the restaurant. Given that the weekends draw a considerable crowd of customers, one has to rely on luck if no reservation has been made, and seating might not be available. The establishment in question is Iroriya Higashiginzaten.
